Membership Information

You have selected the Arbitrator Membership membership level.

The panel of arbitrators comprises persons who have, in the main, occupied senior positions in the re/insurance market as an underwriter, broker or claims executive.

There are also some who have credentials in other areas of expertise relating to re/insurance, notably legal and accountancy. Most of the panel members are based in England but there are also a number based in other parts of Europe and in the USA.

The panel members, now numbering almost 100, are also provided with tutorials on arbitration practice and are encouraged to attend the Society’s (annual) conferences to supplement their knowledge.

The price for membership is £150.00 per Year.

Integrity & Membership Declaration

Please note that in the interests of maintaining the quality of our Panel, when submitting his/her application a candidate must confirm, if true, that he/she is not aware of any finding of any court, tribunal or regulatory process reflecting adversely on his/her honesty or integrity.

Referees
Please provide details of two referees below (whilst we would prefer these to be existing Panel Members, this is not essential). Kindly note it is in a candidate’s interest that referees are of sufficiently high seniority and market or professional standing and are able to speak fully to the candidate’s skills, experience and integrity. All referees must also confirm, if true, that they are not aware of any finding of any court, tribunal or regulatory process reflecting adversely on the candidate’s honesty or integrity.
