Experience
Andrew has nearly 40 years, originally as a barrister specialising in marine. As a solicitor and in-house, specialising in reinsurance (treaty and fac, both general P&C and areas like Nat Cat, credit & surety, energy, aviation and marine, engineering) conducting court and arbitration proceedings and ADR including mediations, as well as settlement negotiations. He has also diversified into insurance classes such as professional indemnity across a wide range e.g. solicitors and accountants, brokers. More recently, he added financial institutions and W&I/transactional liability. Also broad non-contentious experience. He is very familiar with the Lloyd’s structure.
